PVCA Names Sienna Cozza of North Catholic as 2024–2025 Ms. Volleyball of Pennsylvania
The Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association (PVCA) is proud to announce Sienna Cozza of North Catholic High School as the recipient of the 2024–2025 Ms. Volleyball of Pennsylvania award. This prestigious honor is presented annually to the top senior girls’ volleyball player in the state, recognizing excellence in performance, leadership, and character.
Cozza, a dynamic setter and team leader, made an extraordinary impact over the course of her high school career. Her consistency, poise, and competitive drive helped guide North Catholic’s continued success, and her all-around contributions on the court are reflected in her impressive career totals:
● 1,764 assists
● 302 kills
● 115 blocks
● 635 digs
● 119 aces
Her ability to control the pace of play, connect with her attackers, and contribute in all phases of the game made her a cornerstone of the Trojanettes’ program.
Head Coach Amanda Fetter shared, “Sienna is the kind of player every coach dreams of. As a setter, her relentless work ethic, fierce drive, and pure talent set the tone for our entire team.
She never settles—always pushing herself in practice and elevating everyone around her. Sienna’s grit, leadership, and passion define her as a player. I am honored to have had the opportunity to coach such a dedicated and inspiring young athlete. She truly embodies the essence of this award.”
Ryan Sell, President of the PVCA, added: "I've had the pleasure of watching Sienna play in person several times, and she never fails to impress. Her ability to control the tempo and keep her attackers in rhythm — even in out-of-system situations — is truly remarkable. She's a fierce competitor and the kind of player any coach would be fortunate to have. I wish this talented Pennsylvania native all the best as she continues her career under another outstanding Pennsylvania coach, Mike Schall, at the University of North Carolina.”
To commemorate her achievement, Cozza will receive a custom banner to be displayed in the North Catholic gymnasium, serving as a lasting tribute to her leadership and legacy.
