PVCA Announces Dylan Musser as 2024–2025 Mr. Volleyball of Pennsylvania

The Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association (PVCA) is proud to announce Dylan Musser of Manheim Central High School as the recipient of the 2024–2025 Mr. Volleyball of Pennsylvania award. This prestigious honor recognizes the top senior boys’ volleyball player in the state, celebrating both athletic excellence and exemplary leadership.

Musser, a standout setter and team captain, led the Barons to an outstanding 24-1 record during his senior season. Across 25 matches and 78 sets, he tallied an impressive 830 assists, 75 kills, 74 blocks, 69 digs, and 54 aces, helping guide his team through a dominant year of competition.

Over the course of his high school career, Musser’s impact has been remarkable. In 84 career matches, he amassed:

● 2,799 assists
● 148 kills
● 164 blocks
● 394 digs
● 169 aces
● Career match record: 72-12
● Career set record: 227-55

Musser reflected on the award, saying, "I am very honored by this award. I would like to thank my teammates, coaches, family, friends, and the Manheim community for all the encouragement and support! Go Barons!"

Ryan Sell, President of the PVCA, shared his admiration for Musser’s performance: "I had the opportunity to watch Dylan play a few times on film and in person at the state championship. His leadership and poise under pressure stood out right away. He found himself at the service line in critical moments and delivered every time. What impressed me most was his ability to keep his entire team engaged and consistently find the best matchup on the floor. It was an absolute joy to watch him compete on the biggest stage."

To commemorate this outstanding achievement, Musser will receive a custom banner to be displayed in the Manheim Central gymnasium, ensuring his legacy continues to inspire future student-athletes.
