New PVCA President

The PVCA welcomes Ryan Sell as our new president. Ryan is a passionate and dedicated volleyball coach with a profound commitment to nurturing talent and promoting the sport in Pennsylvania. Ryan has successfully led teams to numerous championships and has been instrumental in developing players who have gone on to play at the collegiate level. He has been the head coach at Pope John Paul II High School since 2012 winning two state championships along with numerous league and district titles.

Ryan has been actively involved in the volleyball community. He hosts a new podcast for volleyball coaches in Pennsylvania. Ryan has served as a district rep. and a clinician for the PVCA. He will be instrumental in moving the PVCA forward in numerous areas while implementing the various elements driven by the PVCA’s mission statement. Ryan is a respected and influential figure in the volleyball community and his dedication and commitment to the PVCA will help the organization grow and better serve our members.

Tony Crisafulli had served as the PVCA president for 10 years. Tony will continue to serve on the PVCA Executive Board as the past president. Tony will continue to serve as an influential voice with the PIAA.

In addition he will work to implement our new mentoring program and serve as an advisor on several PVCA committees. Tony has been coaching for 40 years in various capacities. He is a PVCA Hall of Fame member with 2 state runner-up titles as well as 16 district titles (15 in a row) at North Star High School where he is a math teacher. Tony is also actively involved in the All-American Amateur Baseball Association and he enjoys golfing.

The PVCA thanks Tony for his years of service as president as well as his continued involvement moving forward. The PVCA also welcomes Ryan and his future vision for the PVCA.
